Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST), in its commitment to advancing university education, research, innovation and the intellectual growth of Kenya, is proud to partner with Tumaini Sickle Cell Organization (TSCO), whose vision is to promote children’s health, education and full potential for Sickle Cell warriors and their families.
The partnership aims at forging a meaningful collaboration focused on health interventions, community health and research, improved agricultural methods to enhance nutrition and food security, as well as stakeholder education and joint publications. Key focus areas in the collaboration include Sickle Cell Disease and nutrition, climate change and its impact on Sickle Cell management, HIV and AIDS, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, and mental health and well-being among Sickle Cell warriors.
